Nimet Sarı

After completing her education in Istanbul Erkek Lisesi, Nimet Sarı graduated from the civil engineering department of Boğaziçi University in 1988. Although she began her professional career as a civil engineer she focused on her area of expertise of Marketing and Sales.

Beginning her career in insurance in Halk Sigorta in 1989, Nimet Sarı was employed as a Risk Engineer, Marketing Manager, Customer Management and New Business Development Management posts.

Working with Marsh and McLennan Broker, Nimet Sarı was able to extend her experience in customer relation in large scale, foreign capital companies.

Having successfully completed many projects of sales and marketing Nimet Sarı has shared her knowledge and familiarity of strategic planning, target customer selection, marketing strategies and work development since 2000 with different firms active in different sectors.

Her main principle is to conclude target oriented projects through defining customer oriented work processes and long term customer relations.

Fulya Sarı

Fulya Sarı’s area of expertise is individual and institutional learning. Fulya Sarı focuses on constructive approach, self-management in learning processes, collective mind and editing abilities, in her seminars and workshops concerning the education sector and institutional transformation.

Fulya Sarı has worked as a consultant in the projects of the Ministry of Education and the World Bank. She has also realized important projects in the private sector as well as the public sector.

Being one of the few information architects in Turkey Fulya Sarı gives consultancy in Remote Education, Project Based Learning Models and Transition to the New Curriculum. She is active as a process consultant in the leadership workshops. Fulya Sarı is also directing the Pro-Associates “Academy of Professional Development for Educators.”

Dr. Emine Çobanoğlu

After completing her education in Robert College Istanbul Emine Çobanoğlu was graduated from The Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences of Boğaziçi University majoring in Finance and Marketing.

She worked in a market research company for two years in the area of marketing research and specialized in media research. Emine Çobanoğlu began her Master’s Degree in Management in Marmara University in 1989. She joined the academic staff of the same university in the year 1990 as a research academic.

In 1992 she graduated from her master program and began her doctorate in the same department. While continuing her doctorate she taught Marketing, Advertising, Consumer Behavior, Marketing Research and Institutional Marketing. She worked as a part-time academic and consultant. After completing her doctorate in 1998 Emine Çobanoğlu took a break in her academic career in Marmara University and focused on marketing, brand management, marketing and sales strategies, production, sales and imports in the private sector. She played an important role in sales organization.

Returning to her post in Marmara University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, management department in 2002, Emine Çobanoğlu continues to teach in areas such as Marketing Research, Sales Management, Organizational Marketing, Distribution and Logistics. Her areas of expertise are marketing, market and marketing research, sales, communication and customer relations.

Kazım Sarı

Kazım Sarı is specialized in the establishment of enterprises with foreign capital. He has worked in the areas of Market Research, Foundation of Liaison Offices and Entry of Foreign Capital in to the Turkish Market since the last 15 years. He has conducted particular operations in the analysis of finding the best partnership model in accordance with the needs of foreign companies, while investigating the requirements of existing market in pursue of foreign capital.

Companies dealing with textiles and tourism sectors such as Rinke Etiketten GMBH (Germany), EElabels (Holland), Ateks (Denmark), Britannia (UK), Seripress (France), Colibrireisen (Austria), Vonhögen AutoVermietung (Germany), Autoeurope (USA) can be given as some examples for setting up a corporate entity and managing joint operations.

Kazım Sarı has captured an opportunity to be in close contact and developed familiarity to work with people from Europe and USA during his years in these countries which in return helped him to reach the ultimate purpose of finding proper cooperation and collaboration with the principle inputs of “right product, right market and right person.”

Taner Özdeş

Taner Özdeş born in 1963, graduated from Avusturya Lisesi in 1983 and from the department of Marketing of the University of Miami, USA in 1986. He began his career as an investment and marketing analyst in İktisat Bankası. He continued his career as a Brand Manager in Lever between the years 1989-1990 and as a senior customer representative in Pars/McCann Erickson between the years 1990-1991. Özdeş worked as the Sales Manager in Dow Jones Telerate from May 1991 to January 1997. From February 1997 to August 2000 he was the Sales and Marketing Manager at Fornet. He has been the manager of InfroNet since September 1st 2000. InfroNet is a company which provides the Turkish users with the best and the newest network and information security systems available in the world.

Through out his career Özdeş has trained 1500 people as sales representatives through “Junior Chamber International”, a Worldwide Federation of Young Leaders and Entrepreneurs; Boğaziçi University Alumni Association and Rotary Club, about “Sales Psychology and Techniques in the New Millennium” to around 1500 people.

Özdeş was given the JCI Local Trainer Certificate in 2004. Özdeş has participated in many training programs and seminars dealing with Management, Marketing and Sales. He can speak German and English. Özdeş is an active member of JCI and Young Manager and Businessman Association (GYIAD) and he likes to ski, play tennis, travel and read books and is involved in social clubs. Taner Özdeş was chosen the best JCI member in Turkey in 1999. Having been the National director of Institutional Relation of the same association between the years 1998-2002, Özdeş constantly tries to improve himself.
